Canaves Oia Suites & Spa was the best place we have ever stayed at. As an airline agent I travel extensively all over the world and have stayed in many beautiful resorts. However Canaves suites exceeded all and every expectation. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. They updated our suite which was beyond phenomenal. Upon entering this two story suite everything was set up perfectly with a warm friendly and endearing Anniversary note, bottle of Champagne and upstairs bed decorated in a heart shape with flowers. The suite was enormous of a posh decor , great ambience, and superbly stylish. The beds were extremely comfortable offering a quiet and soothing quality. Canaves Oia suites left nothing out and lives up to its name and reputation. The staff are exceptional always going above and beyond to elevate our experience. Their hospitality is truly that which needs no change as they are warm, helpful, welcoming tone and, perfect demeanor. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer however will be returning again.

Canaves Oia Suites is in a great location in Santorini - shops, restaurants and all the sights are right there! Our room lovely, very clean, the patio was wonderful. Such amazing views at all hours. We enjoyed having breakfast there each morning. The patio was more private than some others. The room wasn’t quite as described on booking.com. They showed us some other rooms but we decided to stay put. The manager said to always check the property website to be clear what room you’re getting. They did bring us a bottle of wine and plate of meat and cheese, which was nice. The staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. I have MS and use a cane when traveling. The stairs were a bit of a challenge but do-able for me. We were able to use the elevator to get to the lobby and restaurant. I recommend having them arrange travel to/from the port/airport. The price seemed high but it was equivalent to what we found at the port and would have been private instead of stuffed into a small bus that dropped everyone else off.

The view of the Caldera from our room was amazing, better than what the pictures viewed online prior to our visit could display! All staff were very accommodating from the moment we walked into the reception lobby. Housekeeping also did a great job cleaning our room everyday and providing an excellent evening Turndown service. We took advantage of Canaves Oia Suites spa services as well. This was the best massage experience I believe we’ve ever had. The steam bath scrub prior to the massage was quite the experience too! Hotel manager Dimitris and his entire team exceeded our expectations! We’ll be back to stay at Canaves Oia Suites & Spa on our next visit to Santorini!

Recommend the crab salad, shrimp and the Santorinian salad. The loungers in the infinity pool are a nice touch and the pool lounge chairs are also super comfortable. I stayed at Canaves Suites and Katikies(nearly next door). The service at Canaves Suites exceeded Katikies, and I wouldn’t have thought that possible. Staff is genuine.
